Common Health Issues
Overgrown Teeth
To avoid this, provide lots of chews and hard foods to keep them teeth at an appropriate length. If they are too long, take to an exotic vet for a trim.
Wet Tail
A serious bacterial infection causing diarrhoea, typically in young,stressed hamsters. Take a hamster to the vet immediately if they have this.
Respiratory
Issues
Can be seen as sneezing and/or wheezing. They will likely need antibiotics from the vet to treat this.

Health Checks are important so you can catch any illnesses early and can get your hamster the veterinary care they need quickly. Always be asking:
