Cats are obligate carnivores which means their diet must consist primarily of animal meat.

The bulk of a cats diet can be given in a variety of ways: dry, wet/ canned food, homemade foods or raw diets. Its up to you what you choose to do, however it is reccomended to go with a commerical food as it is very difficult to meet all the nutritional needs of a cat when making the food yourself.

A Cats diet must meet the following requirements:

The cat food must reflect your cats life stage:
Kitten = 0-1 year
Adult = 1-8 years
Senior= 8+ years
and any additional needs (e.g hypoallergenic) they may have.
